HoyoShip version numbers

HoyoShip versions follow Semantic Versioning and look like vX.Y.Z (e.g., v0.16.1). See Releases for what a version change means.

Obtaining the HoyoShip version

The HoyoShip version is displayed in the footer of the web UI, in the output of the hoyoship --version CLI, and returned by two API endpoints:

  • /api/v1/version
  • /api/hoyoship/v1/version

Both endpoints return the same value, e.g. {"version":"v0.16.1"}.

Client tools

Section titled “Client tools”

The version carries no build metadata after a +. A client tool that enables features by comparing the server’s version number against its own list of versions may treat HoyoShip 0.x as an older server, even though the /api/v1 API it calls is complete, as described in API Usage.
